Map produced in support of operations against Chief Serumba of the Anguru during the Lake Shirwa Expedition in south-eastern British Central Africa.Covers the south-eastern portion of Lake Shirwa extending 40 miles southwards to Fort Lister and 40 miles eastwards into Portuguese East Africa. Portrays hydrology, settlements, place names and part of the Anglo-Portuguese boundary, and includes topographical notes. Also depicts a slave route and the course taken by 'devastating columns'.
